These components are in addition to the standard extras that come with all of our rugs. All TurtleNecks have an elastic neckline to keep the body heat inside and the rain, sleet, and snow outside. The elastic conforms to the horse and fits many different sizes. They have a full anti-bacteria lining to prevent fungus, mold, and bacteria from growing inside the rug. It has a generous pattern with extra room in the shoulder area to prevent shoulder rubs and extended coverage over the rear, with a large tail flap, to block the wind.  Each TurtleNeck has a detachable fleece collar for easy cleaning and a spare parts kit with an extra fleece collar, belly and rear leg straps.

 

The Ice Turtle has two insulation layers. The section that covers the core is 320 grams while the lower panels, tail flap and belly flaps have 100 grams of insulation.   This is a world class turnout that we guarantee you will like.
